The Frickashinas (Frick-UH-shin-UH… not that you or anyone else will pronounce it that way) are a hard-charging, Denver-based, four-piece punk rock band that have built a loyal and enthusiastic following in the Mile High City and beyond.
Formed in 2020 by musicians with experience and success across a broad spectrum of music projects spanning more than two decades, the Frickashinas’ unique blend of energy, heart, and musicianship has led them to larger audiences and bigger stages.
They released their debut album Thanks for the Invite in 2023 which featured singles “I Like Your Band Better,” “Hey, You Want To Watch Me Die Again?” and “Just One Drink and Other Lies.” Their new album You Can Always Try releases May 2026 on vinyl and across streaming platforms and features the band’s boldest, genre-spanning work yet, including a truly unhinged cover of Harry Belafonte’s “Day-O (The Banana Boat Song).”
In addition to playing numerous shows all across Colorado with the likes of Alien Ant Farm, Sparta, Authority Zero, The Queers, and other national touring acts, The Frickashinas have played Punk Rock Bowling in Las Vegas, Punk Rock Saves Lives Fest, Underground Music Showcase in Denver, as well as shows across the country in Florida, Iowa, Wyoming, and more.
Not content to just sit and wait around for invites, The Frickashinas create their opportunities and are the masterminds behind the sold-out Denver festivals 420 Punkfest and Punk Rock Fright Night.
With raucous crowds packing their shows, an eclectic and boisterous stage presence, off-kilter aesthetic and layered, heart-on-the-sleeve music that rewards multiple listens, The Frickashinas are one of the premier rock bands working today.
